CONNECT

As a community of believers, we are called to connection...

Fellowship, learning, encouragement and acts of service within and outside of our church community, are a sign that we belong to Christ and that we desire to live in obedience to Him.

As a covenant family...

we enjoy times of fellowship with each other...whether worshipping together in the sanctuary ... visiting after a worship service ... studying God's Word together ... or enjoying a meal together. Our times of Christian fellowship are made richer by the variety of ages and experiences in our midst.
At Peace, there are opportunities for every age to CONNECT!

Connect

The church is not a building, it is a community of people. The next stage in your journey is to get connected with some people you can share life with – spiritual friends, as we call them. True life comes to us when we are in life when we are in relationships in which we love one another, grow in maturity, and engage in mission. Our goal is to see you grow in your relationship with God and in community with other believers ... no matter where you are on the path of life. This stage is a time to dig in and become a part of the family. Here are some key steps in this stage:

CHILDREN & YOUTH
During the week, we have three ministries that are designed for your students, grades 3-12. We desire to engage them into our community, building relationships with mentors. At these events, your student is cared for and guided by adults who are invested in your students’ journey of faith.

ADULTS
There are many ministries that encourage and support adults throughout the week such as: Men & Women’s Groups, Small Groups, DivorceCare & DC4K(ids), Digging Deeper discussions and Prayer. The Just Older Youth get together once a month for a time of service and fun.

GLOBAL & LOCAL CAUSES
Peace Church firmly believes in The Great Commission:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

To that end, Peace Church supports financially, in prayer and in service several people/ministries/organizations in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, the United States and the World.
