The Christian School Tuition Support Fund (CSTSF) was established because Peace Church takes seriously the directives God gives us in Scripture concerning the education of our children:

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. – Deuteronomy 6:6-8

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6

The fund assists the congregation to fulfill the vows made at baptism "to ... help instruct these children in the faith."  Christian schools provide a knowledge of the world from a Christian perspective. Children learn about God's creation and their role in it from the perspective of the Creator to honor God instead of humanity.

The purpose of the fund is to financially assist with the cost of tuition at approved schools for children of all professing members or regular attenders of Peace Church regardless of need.  The fund's support is derived from pledges of members of the congregation and from outside gifts and memorials. The fund shows support to the Peace community that we are behind the education of your children in Christian schools.
