ABORTION
While the issue of abortion can be divisive, God's word is clear that life begins before birth.
The Bible says:
- Psalm 139:13: you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb
- Psalm 51:5: Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
- Leviticus 25:35: If any of your fellow Israelites become poor and are unable to support themselves among you, help them as you would a foreigner and stranger, so they can continue to live among you.
Our views about abortion need to be faithful to these truths.
